Age Concern Glenrothes (ACG) is looking for enthusiastic people to join the Board of Directors. Along with other Board members you will set the strategic vision and direction of the organisation. The day to day operation of ACG is run by a manager, a small number of paid staff and many volunteers. There are 9 day sessions for older people plus two Dementia Specific sessions over 4 centres. Experience of working in the voluntary sector, management, finance, health or social care is an advantage, but in addition would welcome applications from young professionals and students who wish to gain experience of working at board level.
