| Description |
Internal Applicants Only You will be based at Thornton Transfer Station but may involve working at other Waste Transfer Stations across Fife. The role involves the loading of waste or recyclable material to LGV vehicles for transfer to Landfill sites or service providers. You will have a current licence LGV (C) licence and it would be desirable to have Front Loader (Bucket) or 360 Swing Loader (Grab)Licence. It is essential that have experience in handling heavy plant and equipment e.g. Front Loaders,Swing Loaders. You should ideally have some experience of waste management processes plant and equipment . You should possess good written and verbal communication skills. You will be required to provide your own transport from Thornton to the other sites but expenses will be paid.
