Internal Applicants Only Adult day services provides support to adults with a range of disabilities aged 16-65 at a variety of locations across Fife. Service users are supported and encouraged to access a range of Centre based and external opportunities aimed at increasing peoples social and independent living skills in a person centred way that promotes the principles of social inclusion. You will support people who have disabilities in a day service setting on a 1:1 or small group basis either in the centre or in any relevant community setting/activity. Duties include all aspects of personal care and moving and handling tasks, flexibility will be required in the way the days/hours are worked for each post dependant on the needs of service users. Before confirming appointment, you will be required to obtain PVG scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland.
