Salary: £15,039 - £16,440 pro rata. Salary dependent on qualification and experience Grade: Band 7, Stage 2 (Spinal points 12-16) Group:Independent Living Section:RNIB Scotland Planning unit: Visual Impairment and Learning Disability - Pathway Services Location:Kirkcaldy, Fife Hours:18 per week Role Profile no: 839 Join RNIB Pathway Services based in Fife Sensory Impairment Centre in Kirkcaldy and take a lead in providing a wide range of specialist services for adults with sight problems and learning disabilities. RNIB provide a range of services for adults who have learning disabilities and suspected or confirmed sight problems. As an Outreach Support Worker you will work on a 1:1 basis with service users within the community, their own home or another area of their choice. Induction training including visual awareness training will be provided. You will have awareness and understanding of the needs of adults with a learning disabilityand a commitment to complete all essential training required for a registered service. You will be an excellent communicator, with good organisational skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with team members, service users, carers and professionals.
