| Description |
A care home offers an alternative home for a person who is unable to continue living at home safely. We currently have 10 local authority homes in Fife, which are continuously staffed and provide meals, activities and help with personal care and daily living. You will undertake the full range of domestic duties and administration tasks as directed by the cook in charge. You must have knowledge of the dietary needs of older people, experience of catering for large numbers and be familiar with Health and Safety requirements and good hygiene practices. An Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate is essential. Before confirming appointment, you will be required to obtain PVG Scheme Membership through Disclosure Scotland.
