Description	Internal Applicants Only The Home Care Service provides support to individuals in their own homes to enable them to live as independently as possible. You will ensure efficient delivery and performance monitoring of a Home Care Service to service users within their own homes. This involves the assessment of service user needs, goal setting, care planning and review of services. This includes the identification and management of risk. Management of staffing resources and the commissioning and review of services in independent sector where appropriate. You must have previous experience in Health/Social Work or Social Care environment. It is essential to meet registration with SSSC eg Social Work, Nursing or OT qualification and an SVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care. You must be able to undertake training, obtain, and maintain a qualification in load management and client handling techniques. Ability to travel throughout Fife is essential. Before confirming appointment, you will be required to obtain PVG scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland, in addition to which you will be required to register with the Scottish Social Services Council.
