We work hard to meet the varying needs of all our learners. The Education Service is the third largest in Scotland providing for over 55,500 children and young people. Southwood Primary School serves the Macedonia precinct area located in the West of Glenrothes. The school roll in the present session 2011-2012 is 181 plus 41 children in the nursery class. Before confirming appointment, you will be required to obtain PVG Scheme Membership through Disclosure Scotland. You will be required to name two referees on the application form. However, it is your responsibility to ensure that two open references are submitted from the named referees. These should be forwarded to education.recruitment@fife.gov.uk no later than 11 May 2012, to ensure your application will be taken into consideration.
