Situated in the High Street, the building was gifted to the town by local historian and benefactor, Alexander Laing. The permanent gallery has a re-creation of Laing's study and on display are some of the unusual objects he collected as well as other objects from the Museum's collections.  Antiquarian and reference books from Laing's own collection are also held in this Museum.

Open Days will be arranged for summer 2013 and dates advertised once know.

Access to the museum at any other time is by appointment only and can be arranged by contacting St Andrews Museum on 01334 659380.
