Print MapSt Andrews Nursery Centre was opened in 1970. Our aim is to create an ethos where children, parents and staff are valued and supported.
Our accommodation is of a high standard with three well resourced playrooms which accommodate mixed classes of three and four year olds. There are extensive, safely enclosed, outdoor play areas which provide children with a wide range of learning opportunities. A variety of equipment for outdoor play, learning and discovery is available in outdoor storage facilities.
We have high quality play equipment and books to support the curriculum both indoors and out. This follows the guidelines and quality indicators in the Child at the Centre and the learning outcomes of Curriculum For Excellence. The Nursery is registered with the Care Commission and works to their standards. Some children and families access full-day places, either as a priority need or as an extended hours service (for which there is a charge), during the normal school day and during term time.
We are pleased to welcome parents who may wish to visit to discuss any aspect of our work.

There is a ramp to the front door and an external ramp which leads to the rear of the building.Opening Hours
The opening times for sessions are 9.00 - 11.30 for the morning session and 12.30 - 3.00 in the afternoon. Full day children access an extended day but may finish earlier according to family needs.Holidays and Closures
