Parkhill Primary School is situated in the centre of Leven and is one of three Primary Schools serving the town. When the school first opened in 1910 it was an Infant School only and did not cater for all primary school age children until 1957.
In April 2010 the school was extended to include a new teaching wing which was officially opened by Mike Russell, MSP, on the 10th of September of that year. This new building consists of 8 classrooms, a learning centre and a brand new, purpose built PE hall. A selection of meeting rooms and other flexible teaching areas have been incorporated into the new building, as well as office space for administrative and management staff.
