Bus service information is displayed within the car park near the ramped access to the platforms and also on Platform 1. The bus stop adjacent to the station, on Whitefield Road, is 60 metres from the car park.
The bus stop opposite the station, on Whitefield Road, is 65 metres from the station via a pedestrian crossing.
Both stops have dropped kerb access from the station, shelter facilities and timetable information.

Platforms
The Kirkcaldy-bound platform (Platform 2) is directly accessible from the car park via a short ramp (3° incline) or 9 steps.
Platform width = 2.6m minimum.
The Edinburgh-bound platform (Platform 1) is accessible from Whitefield Road via a stepped path (5° incline) with 34 steps.
Platform width = 2.3m minimum.
Crossing between platforms is via the ramped bridge (3° incline). Alternatively, there are 21 steps up from Platform 2 and 32 steps down to Platform 1. Both platforms have tactile edges, are lit, have sheltered seating, timetable information and CCTV. There are Help Points if you require assistance (see page 50 for more details).
There is a ticket machine located in the shelter on Platform 1.
All trains serving this station carry on-board ramps to assist with boarding/alighting.

To reach Queen Margaret Hospital, take the path, leading from the car park, down to Whitefield Road. Follow the road up the hill and cross at the hospital entrance. Walking time is less than 10 minutes.
