Lochgelly Library has now moved into the newly revamped Lochgelly Centre and has a new name! It's now called the Jennie Lee Library in memory of the Lochgelly-born MP who played a key role in the foundation of the Open University.

The new Centre is bigger and better than ever and our modern library is housed in a new single storey glass-fronted extension where a warm welcome awaits visitors. We continue to offer a wide range of services including:

  • Books to borrow – to entertain you, to inform you, to listen to
  • Books to suit all ages, from babies onwards
  • Information resources – community information and quick reference material
  • Free computers –access to the Internet and Microsoft Office
  • Online information and learning –newspapers, IT courses, careers and jobs
  • Activities for children and storytimes
  • Assisted Taster sessions to get you started using computers
  • Local History resources
  • Photocopying facilities

We hope to see you soon!
