Balwearie High School is a large, truly comprehensive, Secondary School situated in the south-west of Kirkcaldy, serving its local community and the towns of Auchtertool, Burntisland and Kinghorn.
Many pupils attend Balwearie as a result of placing requests from outwith the catchment.
The staff, parents and pupils at Balwearie are very proud of the achievements of their school including the performance of pupils in SQA examinations – here are some quotes which reflect the views of our school community:
