Mountfleurie Primary School was opened in 1957, and the present Infant Department was added in 1974. The children are taught in one large open-plan area. All their accommodation is on the ground floor, while the classrooms for P3 -7 are upstairs. As the school roll has decreased significantly since the school was built we benefit from many extra facilities. The school has an assembly hall with a stage as well as a gymnasium. Other facilities include rooms for Learning Support, music, television, library and teachers' resources room. We also have a room for medical inspections with a waiting room.
