Situated in the west of Glenrothes, in the Glenwood Shopping Centre, this is a bright, modern community library offering easy access for all. Extensive free public parking is available and there is a handy bus stop close by.
Along with the usual books and talking books to suit all tastes and ages, Glenwood also offers a selection of Chinese reading material for lending. There is comfortable seating for relaxed browsing and a separate quiet study area with newspapers, reference and information resources. Seven computers provide free access to Microsoft Office packages and the Internet. Staff are on hand to help you.
Regular activities for children include ‘Book Bug' Sessions: free story, song and rhyme sessions for babies, toddlers, pre-school children and their families.
Two reading groups for adults meet monthly to enjoy a shared love of reading over a glass of wine.
