This community library has a bright, modern and spacious interior. Situated close to busy St Clair Street, the building is only a short walk from local schools, clinics and other amenities. There is free parking and disabled access is available via a lift to the first floor.

 

Our staff are always happy to help customers choose from a wide range of books to suit all ages. They are also on hand to answer enquiries or provide guidance on the library's information and reference resources.

 

A special feature of Sinclairtown Library is its separate room which houses an IT suite, a coffee machine, as well as a comfortable area for quiet study and relaxed reading. Computers provide free access to Microsoft packages and the Internet - advance booking is advisable. Regular Taster Sessions are held for beginners - both in computer basics and in digital photography. Phone or ask at the library for more details.

 

Local & Family History resources are avialable here during the refurbishment of Kirkcaldy Central library.  Appointments may be necessary to access some resources. Please call the library and check before travelling.  Opening hours have been extended until Spring 2013.  See below for details.

 

A large, well-equipped meeting room, cabled for Internet access, is available for hire.

 

Children are always welcome and special activities for them include regular storytimes.
