Print MapGlenwood High School is a comprehensive, co-educational and non-denominational school serving the western part of the town of Glenrothes together with communities to the north and west.
The school opened in 1962 and the original accommodation, which has been enhanced by a substantial building programme of extension, reconstruction and renovation completed in 1982, provides the school with full, modern facilities within one compact site. These facilities include a well equipped Library and Information Centre; a games hall, gymnasium, fitness and dance studio, fitness suite, drama studio, swimming pool and extensive playing fields; a purpose built suite of music rooms and eight computer rooms.
The School Management Team comprises the Rector, 4 Depute Rectors and a Business Manager.
