Inverkeithing Station is situated close to the centre of the town with the main station access off Chapel Place.
Monday to Friday 0630 to 1930
Saturday 0630 to 1930
Sunday 1010 to 1730
The ticket office is situated within the heated waiting room (Platform 2) and is only open during the above times. In the waiting room, there is timetable information for both platforms, a cash machine (there is a charge for withdrawals), electronic information screens displaying train information and a kiosk, selling newspapers and refreshments. Kiosk opening hours: -

There is a heated waiting room on Platform 1, which is only open during staffing hours. There is also covered seating outside the waiting room.
The ticket office is fitted with an induction loop for deaf and hard of hearing people.
There is a ticket machine in front of the main building.
Inverkeithing Station is ideally equipped for Park & Ride with 3 car parks offering a total capacity of 425 spaces. Car parks are located on Admiralty Road (200 spaces, free parking), King Street (162 spaces, free parking) and Chapel Place (63 spaces, Pay & Display parking). Chapel Place Car Park incorporates 6 designated spaces for Blue European Parking Badge Holders. These designated spaces are 50 metres from the northbound platform (Platform 2) via the bridge and a 4° inclined ramp. Admiralty Road Car Park is linked by a level footpath to the Chapel Place Car Park. King Street Car Park is linked via a pedestrian level crossing, 37 metres along a footpath, up 37 steps, across Boreland Road and down the bus/taxi access road (3° incline) onto the station forecourt. All car parks have CCTV cameras.
Drop-off / Pick-up points
There are 4 designated drop-off and pick-up spaces at the north end of the Chapel Place Car Park. Cars must not use the bus/taxi access road from Boreland Road to drop off or pick up passengers.
Buses / Bus Stops
The main bus stop for the station is outside the main building immediately adjacent to Platform 2. It has a shelter, timetable information and an electronic departure screen. Local services and buses to Rosyth Ferry Terminal and Edinburgh Airport leave from this stop. Through train-bus tickets are available for journeys to the Airport.
Additional services use stops on Chapel Place. The stop adjacent to the station, on Chapel Place, is 100m from the station building via a 6° inclined path. Similarly, the stop opposite is 110m from the station building, across Chapel Place, via an 11° inclined path. Both stops have timetable information but no shelters.
There is a taxi rank outside the main station building, adjacent to Platform 2.
A public telephone is located within the main waiting room on Platform 2 and accepts coins only.
There is also a Freephone unit, to contact various local businesses and taxi operators, situated outside the waiting room on Platform 2.
The Dunfermline/Aberdeen-bound platform (Platform 2) has a level approach from the bus/taxi access road. There are also paths (6° & 11° inclines) from the bus stops on Chapel Place and ramped access (4° incline) or 24 steps from Chapel Place Car Park. Platform width = 5.5m minimum.
The Edinburgh-bound platform (Platform 1) is reached via a ramped bridge (4° incline) from the Chapel Place Car Park or from Platform 2 via 28 steps on either side of the bridge. Platform width = 5.5m minimum.
Both platforms have tactile edges, are lit, have heated waiting rooms, sheltered seating, timetable information, CCTV and electronic information screens. There are Help Points if you require assistance (see page 50 for more details).
A ticket machine is situated outside the ticket office on Platform 2.
All trains serving this station carry on-board ramps to assist with boarding/alighting.
The Ladies, Gents, Disabled and Baby Changing facilities are free of charge and are situated in the waiting room on Platform 2.
Electronic information screens are available on both platforms as well as in the heated waiting room on Platform 2.
Timetable information is available on both platforms, in the waiting room or by using the Help Points.
A sheltered cycle rack for 9 bicycles is available outside the waiting room on Platform 2. There are also 10 lockers situated within the Chapel Place Car Park. Users must provide their own padlock (lockers) or bike lock (rack).
There are CCTV cameras throughout the station building, for both platforms and all car parks.
