Welcome to Lochore Meadows Country Park. With the loch as its heart, the park provides a strong and varied mix of informal and formal leisure activities and experiences such as
- walking,
- picnicking and barbecuing,
- bird-watching,
- cycling
- beach and adventure playground for children.
There are also organised and membership activities which include
- golf
- trout fishing
- horse riding
- mountain biking
- water sports and
- orienteering
As well as it’s grassland and oak woodland environment, the Park offers visitors the opportunity to appreciate and learn about wildlife by seeing for themselves. There are woodlands, meadows and grasslands, ponds, a Nature Reserve and of course Loch Ore itself. There are paths and trails throughout the area, many of which are wheelchair and mobility scooter accessible.
In addition to offices for park staff and meeting rooms, which are also available for hire, the Visitor Centre has a newly furbished café with new seated decking area offering customers the opportunity to take advantage of the fresh air when visiting.
A range of specialised equipment is available for people with disabilities for land and water activities.
