S1 Chocolate Cakes

Our S1 course consists of four main units:

  • Food Block 1 - Basic equipment, hygiene and safety and cookery skills
  • Food Block 2 - Scottish Dietary Targets and development of confidence in independent cookery
  • Consumer - Rights of the consumer, advertising and  convenience foods
  • Textiles - Development of  hand sewing skills and production of a cushion using a sewing machine
