Fife Council

We provide free, independent, impartial and confidential money advice and assistance to the residents of Fife.

We can help you find the best option to deal with your debts. You can either arrange to see a money adviser, or we can provide a self-help pack.

We can help you deal with your creditors and advise on making the most of your income.

We can advise you what to do if you face:

• creditors threatening to take you to court
• being evicted
• having your gas or electricity cut off
• compulsory deductions from your wages
• arrestment of your bank account
• becoming insolvent (bankruptcy)

If you would like the Money Advice team to help you with your debts, please fill in our client appraisal form. This is in word format which can be filled in and emailed to us at money.advice@fife.gov.uk. Alternatively the PDF version can be printed off and once completed, posted to us at the address at the bottom of the form.
