Purpose of consultation
Fife Council is interested in your views on the future for the Fife coast.
Transportation & Environmental Services have now published the revised Fife Shoreline Management Plan as a draft for consultation. This review considers the predicted effects of sea level rise due to climate change over the next 100 years, with the aim of sustainable management of coastal flooding and erosion risk.
The consultation is open to everyone from 5 September - 28 November 2011. We would be grateful to receive your comments on the draft plan and the supporting documents.
The consultation documents are listed below and are available to download at www.fifedirect.org.uk/shoreline. Hard copies of the draft plan and appendices will be available to view from Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm throughout the consultation period at New City House, Dunfermline, Fife House, Glenrothes and County Buildings, Cupar.
