Purpose of consultation

Fife Council is preparing a bid to access Broadband Delivery UK (BDUK), created by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport for broadband funding.

To help the process and gain feedback we are undertaking a snapshot of rural households, businesses and organisations. We are aiming to assess thecurrent level of take-up of broadband, current broadband speeds (upload and download); choice of broadband supplier, orif you would consider other options and costings.

In order to assist us in this process it is essential that we can identify the BT exchange supplying your landline; we therefore require your full landline telephone number, which will only be used for this analysis.

We would appreciate if you could find time to complete this snapshot survey.
