Dunfermline Children's Gala has taken place for over 100 years and is now very much a part of Dunfermline's heritage, being the largest of its kind in Scotland.  Over 3,000 school children take part in the annual procession with pipe and brass marching bands and street entertainers along the length of Dunfermline High Street.
