Readers' Day

Saturday 07 Nov 2009
Published by: Fife Council

If you have a passion for books and reading and want to share it with others, then the Readers’ Day, organised by Fife Council Libraries & Museums, is definitely for you. Readers’ Day, which will be held at Rothes Halls on Saturday 7th November, is an opportunity for people who love books and reading to come together to discuss and share their reading experiences. Established authors Allan Guthrie and David Wishart will be joining with relative newcomers Beatrice Colin, Alan Clements and G J Moffat to talk about their own work and the books which have been an influence on their lives with readers from all across Fife.

Tracey Steedman, Service Development Librarian, said. “Readers’ Day is becoming more popular every year since it started in 2003. Having a mix of established and new authors makes it a very attractive event for Fife’s many readers. Come along and talk about books and reading with others like you who love books."

Booking forms for the Readers’ Day are available in all Fife Council Libraries or by calling 01592 583204.  Sessions will be allocated on a first come, first served basis so early booking is recommended.

A day ticket costs £16.00 (£13.50 Premier and Super Fifestyle).
