Mark Beaumont pedals into Kirkcaldy to recount his fascinating and inspirational tales of adventure on road and sea. A 29-year-old adventurer, documentary maker and author from Perthshire, Mark broke the Guinness World Record for the fastest man to cycle round the world, going on to cycle the Americas from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego. In 2011, he was part of the six-man team who rowed through the Canadian Arctic to the 1996 location of the North Magnetic Pole.These three expeditions were filmed by Mark and shown on BBC One. This year,he has been rowing the Atlantic, in a bid to set a new world record.
