Job Location: Fife Community Based Services, Unit 1, Halbeath Business Park, Kingseat Road, Halbeath, Dunfermline, KY11 8RY (Admin Base) Hours: 37 Full Time Equivalent:37 Contract Type:Permanent Salary Scale:£32,763 - £35,340 per annum About Capability Capability Scotland campaigns with, and provides education, employment and care services for more than 1,000 disabled children and adults across Scotland.The workforce comprises of a wide variety of roles including Allied Health professionals, Teachers, Care and Support staff. Fife Community Based Services provide care at home and housing support to people in their own homes at various locations across Fife. About the role The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of the service and managing four staff teams. You will be required to effectively and efficiently manage the resources to ensure customers in the service receive quality person-centred care. You will be expected to sustain and develop joint working relationships both internally and externally. You will be required to prepare, plan and implement operational activity in line with Capability Scotland policies and procedures, SSSC, Care Commission Codes of Practice and National Care requirements. Experience/Qualifications/Key Skills You will have experience relevant to the role of Service Manager and a registered Manager’s award (SVQ Level IV with Leadership and Management Award) or equivalent. You must have current registration or eligibility to register with the SSSC. You will need to have a thorough working knowledge and application of legal, regulatory and policy requirements relating to the social care setting as well as an understanding of risk management. You will also need good IT skills and experience of managing people in a social care environment. Driving licence and availability of a car for on call duties is required.
