Living With My Condition In Fife

What is Fostering?

What is fostering?

Fostering involves looking after a child or young person in the foster carer’s home.  It could be for a short time while things are sorted out at home, or for a longer period of time, depending on the situation.

Foster Carers not only support children but also work with the child’s family, schools, doctors and social workers.

As a Foster Carer you need to be able to contribute at various meetings relating to the child.
