The Carers Trust was works to improve support, services and recognition for anyone living with the challenges of caring, unpaid, for a family member or friend who is ill, frail, disabled or has mental health or addiction problems. Together with network partners, they provide access to desperately-needed breaks, information and advice, education, training and employment opportunities. Carers and young carers are given avenues to speak to someone and make their voices heard, offline via our carers' services and young carers' schemes and online via the interactive websites.

Crossroads Fife Centre - Caring for Carers
Crossroads is an organisation whose aim is to help relieve stress on those who care for people of any age with all disabilities. Crossroads do this by enabling Carers to take a break. Short breaks are available to Carers at regular intervals at a time that suits them. Whether the person you care for is a child, young adult or an older person, Crossroads may be able to help you.

Fife Carers Centre
Fife Carers Centre provides information and support to unpaid carers of people with all types of illness and disabilities throughout Fife. They offer workshops, information sessions, learning groups and social activities for carers. In addition they operate the Fife Carers Emergency Card scheme whereby an emergency plan can be put in place for the cared for person should something unforeseen happen to the carer.

Fife Council - Support for Young Carers
A young carer is a child or young person under the age of 18, whose life has been affected by their significant caring role for a family member. Fife Council has a range of services that can help you as a young carer as well as the person you care for including advice, counselling, befriending and more.
Families Support Project
Fife Families Support Project is part of Support in Mind Scotland. The aim of the project is to support friends and relatives in helping those struggling with severe mental health problems through providing information and advice on services, treatments, mental health illness and sources of support.
