Activities
Sailing
A wide range of activities and courses are on offer at Lochore Meadows throughout the year for the public, community groups and schools. Programmes may be stand alone adventure fun sessions or longer term development programmes. We cover a wide range of activities including:
Paddlesports
Open Canoeing and Kayaking. Have a go for the first time or brush up on your skills. Lochore is a safe and fun place to learn new skills. Try one of our ‘plus’ courses which will take you to some of Scotland’s fabulous rivers and coastline.
Mountain Biking
At Lochore Meadows you can take part in the brand new Go Mountain Bike skills courses. Along with the Lochore Meadows trails and Whitewood Bikepark you will be spoiled for choice on ways to improve your riding skills. The newly formed Mountain Bike Club will create opportunities to ride with others onsite and also enjoy trips to other trails.
For anyone looking to lead groups we regularly run Trail Cycle and Mountain Bike Leader courses.
Mountainsports
Scotland has some of the finest hill and mountain areas in the world. Trekking, Hillwalking and Rockclimbing are great ways to explore some of these areas. Our courses will introduce you to the skills required to enjoy them safely.
Sailing
Lochore is the perfect setting for learning and improving your sailing skills. Great scenery, sheltered bays and clean water are all the ingredients for a fantastic learning experience.
The centre is now an OnBoard sailing centre, an RYA initiative to encourage young people to try sailing for the first time and the opportunity to keep going in the sport.

Working together to solve a problem. These activities are usually part of a development or group programme.
RaftBuilding
Using only the materials provided, will you be able to build a raft that will stay afloat while you and your team paddle across the Loch.

Archery
Take aim and fire. It’s not as easy as it looks but with a bit of practice you will soon be hitting the bulls eye. Archery normally features on the kids summer programme.
