Fife Health & Wellbeing Alliance

Fife Health and Wellbeing Alliance (FHWA) is a partnership involving Fife Council, NHS Fife and Fife's  voluntary sector  - committed to equal opportunity for good health and wellbeing across all communities in Fife. 

  

The Alliance supports other partnerships,  organisations , teams and  community groups  through funding, training and development work.

 

Members  include 

 

  • Councillors and  managers from Fife Council,
  • NHS Fife Board members and NHS Fife managers
  • Fife Voluntary Action (formerly CVS).

 

The Alliance meets 4 times a year. The dates are as follows, for 2013:

  • Wednesday 13 March (2-4pm)
  • Wednesday 5 June (2-4pm)
  • Wednesday 18 September (2-4pm)
  • Tuesday 10 December (2-4pm)

The Alliance is responsible for taking forward Fife's Health and Wellbeing Plan 2011-14 which lays out Fife's approach to reducing health inequalties.
