Fife Health & Wellbeing Alliance
Fife Health and Wellbeing Alliance (FHWA) is a partnership involving Fife Council, NHS Fife and Fife's voluntary sector - committed to equal opportunity for good health and wellbeing across all communities in Fife.
The Alliance supports other partnerships, organisations , teams and community groups through funding, training and development work.
Members include
- Councillors and managers from Fife Council,
- NHS Fife Board members and NHS Fife managers
- Fife Voluntary Action (formerly CVS).
The Alliance meets 4 times a year. The dates are as follows, for 2013:
- Wednesday 13 March (2-4pm)
- Wednesday 5 June (2-4pm)
- Wednesday 18 September (2-4pm)
- Tuesday 10 December (2-4pm)

Many more people contribute to the work of the Alliance through different groups and projects -find out more under strategy groups and funded projects.
The Alliance is responsible for taking forward Fife's Health and Wellbeing Plan 2011-14 which lays out Fife's approach to reducing health inequalties.
