Department for Transport and HSE have produced an information booklet to provide a comprehensive guide for employers managing 'driving for work'.  

We are committed to a reduction in the number of collisions and the severity of injuries on the Kingdom's roads through a combination of education, encouragement and enforcement.

Many drivers of fleet vehicles believe they are adhering to the speed limit when in fact they are not. In many cases it is through a lack of awareness of the authorised speed limit for the type of vehicle they are driving and road classification. 

We would rather educate than enforce and for this reason we have subscribed to the 'East Coast' fleet campaign.  This campaign aims to support employers and employees by providing information in an easy to use pack. For more information see East Coast Campaign

Building Services vans showing speed limit

If You're Driving a Van Like This.....We're working in partnership with Fife Council Building Services on a campaign aimed at van drivers in a bid to raise awareness about the correct speed for goods vehicles.  Around 100 transit vans and 50 of the smaller transit connect vans will have the correct speed transfers on the back doors and vehicles will be allocated to central, east and west depots to gain maximum coverage across Fife.
