Buying a Bike
Choosing a bike can be difficult. Whatever type of cycling you enjoy, Fife has a route that will suit you.
Each of the cycle paths in Fife have different terrains which cater for all cyclists from beginners to more experienced riders. We have explained what type of terrain you can expect from each route in the Cycling routes and maps sections.
We have on-road, signed routes that lead through much of Fife's most picturesque countryside. We have surfaced off-road sections that offer traffic-free cycling but still on a bitumen surfaced route and we have exciting forest tracks that offer testing routes through steep woodlands.
Whatever type of bike you decide to buy, there will be routes in Fife that are ideal for your needs.
