Join our club
Earlier this year we asked clubs, groups and organisation who run sport and leisure activities in their local area to join our new community sport initiative. With over 100 new members, we now have more sports organisations than ever represented on our website and hope to continue growing the membership.
One of the main reasons we were so keen for clubs to sign up was to ensure that a larger number of people delivering sport in the local community have a say in how best to shape the future of sport in Fife.
Their experiences of accessing community facilities and support as well as ideas about how we move forward will be invaluable in helping us to renew the Sport Strategy for Fife in 2013. A main priority within this will be improving how we support and fund community sport.
Get involved
We've now launched our community sport online consultation and it would be great if you would take part on behalf of the sports club you represent on Fife Direct. The results of this consultation will be available on the Fife Direct website later this year.
Don't worry if you haven't signed up yet - it's not too late to sign up here. In fact, you don't need to be registered with us in order to have your say, we would still like to hear from you.
