People on low income

It is easy to assume financial worries will reduce and lifestyles will improve once a member of the family finds employment.  But in a low paid job this is not always the case. Once in a job it can be difficult to move on or find out how to improve your skills or get the qualifications you need to find a better paid job.

Fife Council are not only committed to supporting unemployed people, they are also working hard to help those on low incomes to move into higher paid employment.

These initiatives help people who are in low-paid employment but would like to explore their options and find opportunities to raise their skill level using methods that will suit their lifestyle.

The C.A.T. (Client Action Team) offer support and advice to people who need childcare assistance or require practical help and information to improve their employment potential or to find employment.
