FacebookSecondary Schools - Additional in-service days 2012/13

In line with the Scottish Government arrangements to support Curriculum for Excellence in secondary schools, it has been agreed, after consultation with Headteachers, that the two additional In-Service Days should be held on Tuesday 14th August 2012 and Thursday 15th November 2012.
In secondary schools this will mean that staff and pupils finish on Thursday 28th June 2012 as agreed, however staff return for In-service on Monday 13th August 2012 and have a second In-service day on Tuesday 14th August. All secondary pupils will return on Wednesday 15th August. (Primary pupils will return on Tuesday 14th August)
In November secondary pupils will finish on Wednesday 14th November and return on Monday 19th November. (Primary pupils will finish on Thursday 15th November and return on Monday 19th November).
