Vocational Eye Care Course At Queen Anne Community Use

This part-time course is available on either a daytime or evening basis. Daytime options offered on an 8 week basis running from 0930 - 1130 starting 13 August, 2012 at the Tryst Centre, Abbeyview. Evening options run on a 6 week basis from 1900 - 2130 hrs starting 4th June, 2012 at Queen Anne Community Use.
Our vocational course will cover eyebrow tweezing, waxing, tinting and eye lash tiniting to a salon professional standard. Learners will be provided with a salon-quality eye care kit. As well as sitting a short exam, learners will be assessed performing a treatment on a client. Both of these must be negotiated successfully before the certificate is awarded.
Daytime/evening course fees are £155.40, which includes all tuition, the kit and the cost of the examination. This course is approved by ILA Scotland.
ILA Scotland is a scottish government scheme which provides assistance with the cost of approved courses. Anyone living in Scotland, aged 16 years & over and earning less than £22,000 may be eligible to apply for a £200 learning account.
