Big Tent Festival wins National Award

The Big Tent: Scotland's Festival of Stewardship held in Falkland has been supported over the past 4 years by Fife Council's Major Events Funding Programme and has grown so considerably into one of only two festivals in Scotland being awarded the prestigious 'Greener Festival Award 2009' .
The Festival was placed in the ‘outstanding’ category. 37 awards were given in 2009 and these awards are for festivals throughout the world. There was only one other Scottish festival that received an award (T-in-the-Park).
