The UK’s only static bridge bungee venue is hosting a Charity event for The Fire Fighters Charity – and you could take part!
The jump, facilitated by Nae Limits and Highland Fling, will take place on Saturday 25th August 2012 at the Killiecrankie Bridge, and is being organised by brave Bridge of Allan firefighter Gary Drummond.
Gary is a volunteer with the Charity and has excelled in adventurous events, completing a Skydive in 2010 and a White Water Rafting Challenge in 2011. The bungee jump is another of his daring ideas to raise worthwhile funds to help his fellow firefighters and their families.
The event is £40 to register, with a requested fundraising target of £100, £30 of which is needed prior to the event to cover the costs.
Jan Mattison, Regional Fundraiser for Scotland said “This is a great opportunity for supporters of our Charity to take part in this amazing event, whilst raising valuable funds. With no government funding, The Fire Fighters Charity relies upon such sponsorship and donations to help so many of our beneficiaries from the Fire Community in times of need”.
Budding Bungee Jumpers can register today by contacting Jan on JMattison@firefighterscharity.org.uk or by telephone: 07825 180961.
