An innovative and thought-provoking exhibition by Fife Members of the Children's Parliament has been brought to Kirkcaldy.

The Children's Parliament works to ensure that children have opportunities to share their views and concerns with adults who make decisions that affect their lives.

Fife Members of the Children's Parliament (MCPs) meet every month at Falkland Centre for Stewardship.  Recently they have been thinking about their hopes and dreams for the future.  What would they like to be doing in the year 2026?  Where would they hope to be living?  What job would they like to have?

With the help of Cuban papier mache artist Lyver Chavez, Creative Arts Co-ordinator Joanna Boyce and artist Stuart England, the MCPs have each created a vision of themselves in the future, and they are now ready to show everyone what they have achieved.

The exhibition was first shown at Falkland Palace in June, where the MCPs impressed the audience with the quality of their work and presentation.

To see the models created by the MCPs, and to read about how they see their lives in the future, visit the Town House Stairheid throughout November.
