Interested in learning horticulture?

St Andrews Botanic Garden, under the auspices of its own Education Trust, is working with the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh to bring their international qualification, the Certificate in Practical Horticulture, to Fife for the first time.

This is a hands-on approach to developing the basic skills for horticulture.  You will be "doing stuff" and getting your hands dirty!

If you have ever been bamboozled by plant names, wanted to discover the mysteries of double digging, puzzled by propagation, potting, planting or pruning this beginners course is just for you!

The course is eligible for ILA funding and is open for booking now. See the attached handbook for further information and a booking form.
