The days of summer and strawberries are almost upon us, so now’s the time to take advantage of the long, hopefully hot, days of June and choose some great reads to take with you on your picnics or accompany a glass of something cold of an evening.

We’ve really run the gamut this month – from the comforts of Norwegian knitting to a nice juicy murder, from how to bake the perfect cake to the history of the music magazine, the NME, so we feel confident in saying that there should be something for everyone in this first new-look issue of A Right Guid Read

Lorraine Pascale’s Baking Made Easy would give the most reluctant baker inspiration for the perfect summer cake for your Jubilee street party and, thanks to Dean Koontz, you’ll be up at night thanks to his latest offering, the spooky and Gothic 77 Shadow Street.

Just remember to shake the sand out of your library books when you return them to us after your sunny day at the beach!

Whatever you find, I hope you find A Right Guid Read.

 Happy Reading!
