Disruption to bin collections on Wednesday 20 August 2008
Archived news: published on Monday 18 Aug 2008 by Fife Council
There will be severe disruption to bin collections on Wednesday 20 August due to industrial strike action. Disruption to normal collections is likely to continue on Thursday 21 and Friday 22 August.
If your bin is not emptied on its normal day, please leave it out on the kerbside. If it hasn't been emptied by Monday 25 August, please take your bin in until it is next scheduled for collection.
We will generally prioritise grey bin collections.
It is likely the recycling centres will be closed on Wednesday 20 August. They will open as normal on Thursday 21 August where you can dispose of any extra waste that will not fit into your bin.
We apologise for this inconvenience.
