St Columba's RC Primary

A brand new St. Columba's building was opened at North Union Street on Thursday 2nd November 2006.
St. Columba's is a Roman Catholic Primary School serving the Catholic community of Cupar and the villages beyond. We have a wide catchment area stretching from Dairsie/Gateside (east-west) and Newburgh/Pitlessie (north-south). We also enrol non-catholic pupils living locally.

Our school aims to keep Christ at the centre. We value each child and aim to enhance his/her spiritual, social and emotional development. We have high expectations of pupil's behaviour and learning and encourage each child to fulfil their potential. We foster values of generosity, consideration and compassion and try to lead children to a deeper faith by word and by example.

An active School Association supports the school both by fundraising and by organising social events. We work together with the local community to enhance what is offered to the pupils and parish links are strong.

Our accommodation is brand new and purpose built. We are lucky to have a library and excellent sport facilities. We can be found on North Union Street behind the old Westport, Bell Baxter buildings.

Parents who wish to discuss any aspects of school life should not hesitate to contact the headteacher.
