AQMA for the Appin Crescent area of Dunfermline

In October 2011 we initially declared the Appin Crescent area of Dunfermline an Air Quality Management Area (AQMA).  This took effect from 19 November 2011.  This AQMA was however subsequently amended in August 2012.  This amended AQMA will take effect from 27 September 2012.  Find out about the amended formal order declaring the area an Air Quality Management Area.

Our latest detailed assessment report and further assessment report sets out our findings on the air quality in this area and tells you why we decided we must take action here.

AQAP for the Appin Crescent area of Dunfermline

Since declaring the Appin Crescent area of Dunfermline an Air Quality Management Area (AQMA) we have been working with other Fife Council services and other organisations to draw up a detailed plan of proposed measures intended to help improve the air quality in this area.  This plan is called the Appin Crescent Air Quality Action Plan (AQAP) and an updated version of this plan is now being adopted by Fife Council.
