Paying an Invoice
Payment can be made by one of the following methods;
Automated telephone payments
You can pay your bill over the phone, using a debit or credit card by calling 03451 55 00 55. Please make sure you have your debit / credit card details and payment reference number which you will find on the invoice. This service is available 24 hours a day.
Pay your invoice online by selecting 'Invoice' from the list of bill types. You will be asked to enter your payment reference number and card details.
You can set up a Direct Debit by contacting the team at the number below or by downloading a Direct Debit mandate available at the bottom of this page and returning it to us.
At any Paypoint or Post Office
Cheques should be made payable to Fife Council and sent to the following address;

If you are experiencing financial difficulty or are unable to pay your invoice, please contact the team immediately. We may be able to arrange a suitable payment plan. Contact the team on the number provided at the bottom of this page.

Dispute an Invoice
If you want to dispute a Fife Council invoice, you can do so by;
- calling the issuing service directly by telephoning the number that is shown on your invoice labelled 'for invoice enquiries'
- filling in our online Dispute Form
- emailing our team at firstname.lastname@example.org
Please provide the invoice number when contacting us so we can deal with your dispute as quickly as possible.
Fife Council has a corporate debt policy which provides information and advice to customers who may be experiencing problems with multiple debts owed to the Council.
