Manage your Council Tax Account Online
You can now register to manage your council tax account online at a time convenient to you.
Sign up to benefit from all of the following;
-24/7 access to your council tax account
-Check your council tax details
-Make and view your payments
-Apply for discounts
-Report changes eg moving home, someone moving in or out of your property etc
-Sign up to Direct Debit (once logged into your account, click on 'Set up a Direct Debit')
-Paperless billing / notifications – all council tax bills and council tax reduction notifications will be viewed through your account. We will send you an email to let you know when you have a new bill/notification available.
Signing up is easy, all you need to do is;
- Join FifeDirect if you haven't already done so by entering your personal details. You will be asked to enter a password which you will use the next time you login.
- If you've already registered for FifeDirect, you can sign in here.
- After you have joined FifeDirect, you can register for the council tax service by adding it to your account dashboard. You will be asked for your council tax account reference number and involvement ID, both of which you can find on your latest bill. If you have misplaced your bill, please complete the online bill request form and we will send you the details you will need to register.
Please note, if you register for a council tax online account you will no longer receive paper bills or council tax reduction notifications. They will be available to view in your account.
* All customers registered for the service as at 10th February 2015 will be entered into a draw to win free council tax. The draw will take place on or around 17th February 2015 when one lucky winner will be selected and have no council tax to pay for their 2015-2016 annual charge.
