Recycle at home

Make full use of Fife Council’s bin collection services using the different colours of bins. Remember:

• Blue bins = paper and cardboard
• Brown bins = green garden waste, such as grass clippings and weeds
• Grey bins = anything you can't recycle or reuse.  

Use recycling points

You’ll find these outside many supermarkets, libraries and community centres. Use them to recycle:

• food and drink cans
• glass bottles and jars
• plastic- Type one and two
• textiles

You can use 11 recycling centres across Fife to recycle bulky household items such as batteries, electrical equipment or scrap metal.
