Health Board election

For the first time people of Fife were able to vote for members of their local Health Board or stand for election to the Health Board themselves.

In Fife's first ever Health Board elections the following 12 candidates have been successfully elected:

  • Elizabeth Moira Adams
  • Peter Adams
  • Susan Archibald
  • Jayne Baxter
  • Harry Blyth
  • Margaret Mary Harper
  • Ian Edward Lowles
  • Anne McGovern
  • Arthur MacGregor Morris
  • Dave Stewart
  • Norma Wilson
  • John Storrar Winton

Voting took place by post and the election was run on the basis of a single ‘ward’ covering the whole of the Fife Health Board area.  Polling closed at 4pm on Thursday 10 June 2010.

You can download the document detailing the Declaration of NHS Fife Election Results.  This includes the candidates elected, percentage poll and the number of rejected papers and reasons for rejection.

The breakdown of results document  details the number of 1st and 2nd Preference vote for each Candidate, the number of ballot papers transferred and transfer values at each stage of the count. The number of votes credited to each Candidate at each stage and the number of non transferable ballot papers at each stage. It also shows the stages at which Candidates were elected or excluded.
