Shout as loud as you like about life in Fife!
More than 3,500 Fife people took part in a big discussion about culture called ‘Culture Talk’. The ideas that came out of this have helped Fife Council and other organisations, all keen to improve Fife’s cultural life, know where to direct our energies.
One of your big ideas is that Fife should be bolder and more boastful of its culture. Everyone in Fife should shout more loudly about the great things going on here so that the whole world knows what a vibrant place Fife is to live and work.
To help do this, Fife Council has dedicated the year 2010 to Celebrating Fife. We already have tons of events planned for this magical festival. You, your friends, family, pets, work colleagues, and in fact anyone you know, are all invited to join in the fun!
2010: Celebrating Fife will raise the profile and showcase Fife’s unique environment, cultural identity and lifestyle activities. This year long programme of events and opportunities will roll out across Fife to:
- celebrate and promote Fife,
- raise awareness in Fife and Scotland and beyond of Fife’s special gifts,
- broaden access to and promote participation in cultural activities and experiences for all.
